The topping out ceremony of its “little sister” took place on the 27th of February 2015 right next to the already existing Sparkassen-Arena, which has been opened one year ago as home of the basketball team Science City Jena. By using H-Wall® 8P wall panels (in MC9007, MC 2008) and G4® roof panels (in MC 9002) the hall looks similar to the existing Arena and all technical requirements of the owner and the architects could be satisfied. At the end of March 2015, the hall will finally be opened and then serve as a training site for the basketball teams of Science City Jena.
