On the 19th of April, 2014, the 1st Metecno Junior Cup, a soccer tournament for youth teams, took place in Jena. As a part of the regional marketing program and to confirm the company’s social responsibility supporting children’s sports activities, Metecno assumed the role of an eponym and main sponsor of an excellent tournament. After hard but fair soccer matches, the youth team of SpVgg Bayern Hof finally managed to win the tournament.
