METECNO GOES BIM (Building Information Modeling)
Starting in 2020, for all new projects being planned concerning infrastructural building construction in the course of the “Stufenplan Digitales Planen und Bauen” (BMVI; ‘graduated scheme of digital planning and building’), the use of BIM will be required in Germany. In order to stay abreast to these changes, we are glad to present to you as of now the new BIM objects as part of our sandwich panel product line. You find them here:

As a first step, the versions for ArchiCAD (Graphisoft) and Revit (Autodesk) are accessible. The application of these versions makes it possible for the planning party to model and combine all relevant building data. Additionally to its use during the planning phase, the resulting ‘digital twin’ models the whole lifecycle of the object.

For the realisation of this, we were able to win over the company BIMobject (www.bimobject.com) as a project partner. With 377.550 parametric objects, BIMobject is the world’s leading platform concerning this segment.*
